The music featured in this video is entitled Deep Healing (synths) by Steven Halpern from his album Music for Sound Healing.
The pictures seen here were obtained within the confines of Kakadu
National Park in Australia's Northern Territory. These shots were
captured at or near Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls.
The name 'Kakadu' comes from an Aboriginal floodplain language called
Gagudju. The Aboriginal people of Kakadu have lived on the land for at
least forty thousand years, and about five hundred still reside within
the park.
Kakadu presents a very diverse offering of both life and landscape. The
six types of land-forms found in the park are, the flood-plains, the
lowlands, the stone country, the outliers, the southern hills and
basins, and the tidal flats (with many estuaries). There are over 280
bird species, 60 mammal species, 50 freshwater species, 10,000 insects
species, and at least 1,600 plant species. Furthermore, Kakadu is home
to four major river-systems.
